Cha Thai Tea began with a simple conviction: the best cups of tea don't need to travel far to feel extraordinary. Our recipes trace back to family recipes from Chiang Mai, passed down through generations and refined with an eye for the modern palate.

We opened our doors on Shattuck Avenue because Berkeley has always been a city that values craft, community, and the courage to try something different. Every pour here reflects that spirit — from the Assam leaves we source to the way we hand-pull each batch of boba.
